Delete your account
This page closes your URĀ account — the one you use in the URĀ app and on claphouse.co — and deletes the personal data the club holds about you. It is permanent. There is no undo, and reception cannot restore it afterwards.
01From the app
Open the URĀ app, go to You, scroll to the bottom and choose “Delete your account”. You will be asked to confirm, and the app signs you out as soon as it is done.
02From here
Sign in with the email address on the account, type DELETE in the box below and press the button. You do not need the app installed.
You are not signed in
Sign in with the email address on the account and this page will offer you the button. If you have lost access to that address, use the section above instead.
Sign in03What is deleted
- Your account and password, and every device you are signed in on — your pass stops opening the door immediately.
- Your member record: name, email address, telephone, passport or NIE, nationality, gender, date of birth, postal address, the photograph reception checks you in by, and your bank details where you gave them.
- Your health information: your objectives, any injuries you told us about, and your emergency contact.
- Your bookings and waiting-list places, your workshop places, your guest invitations and your class and treatment allowances.
- Your entry history — every time your pass opened a turnstile — and any unused access codes.
- Your messages to reception, your notifications, and the push registrations for your phones.
- The club's record of any card you saved, so nothing can be charged to it again.
04What the club has to keep, and for how long
Two things survive a deletion, and both are legal obligations rather than the club's choice. Everything else goes.
- Accounting records. Invoices, payments, refunds, session packs, restaurant bills and the passes you bought are kept with the name that was on them, because Spanish commercial law (Código de Comercio, art. 30) requires six years and tax law four. GDPR Article 17(3)(b) is what allows that to survive an erasure request.
- The club's audit log. The record that an action happened — a payment, a refund, a door release, this deletion — is kept for security and accountability. The entry written when you delete your account names your member number and nothing else: no name, no address.
05Before you do it
Deleting your account does not cancel a membership you are still paying for, and it does not refund anything. If you have a live membership, a session pack you have not used or an unpaid balance, settle it with reception first — write to us and we will sort it out before you close the account.
06If you cannot sign in
Write to us from the email address on the account and ask for it to be deleted. We answer within one month, as the GDPR requires, and we may ask you to prove who you are before we act — which protects you from somebody else closing your account.
